Bangaru Thalli Scheme


Bangaru Thalli is a welfare scheme for girl child launched by . The scheme supports the family of a girl from her birth till her graduation. All the Below Poverty Line white card holders are eligible for the scheme.
The  Act, 2013 was passed on June 19, 2013 by Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Kiran Kumar Reddy   to Improve the social status of the Girls/women.
The state government will give Rs 1,000 every month to every pregnant woman the moment she conceives till she delivers a baby. If she gives birth to - a baby girl, she will be benifited with the amount structure is given below.

Eligibility:
*™ All girl children born in economically backward households
™* Born on or after 1st May 2013
*™ Possessing White ration card
*™ Up to 2 children per Household
INCENTIVES ™ 
™™After 21 years,a girl gets incentives 
In case the girl stops her education after Intermediate ,she will be paid  Rs.50,000 towards marriage expenses and Rs.1 lakh if she opts for marriage after education.
Identification is through the Aadhaar Number(self or parents) and biometrics.

Rajiv Yuva Kiranalu is conceived by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh to build job specific skills among the unemployed and place them in appropriate private jobs. Vision of RYK is to Convert large no. of non-literate, school drop out, unskilled and unemployed youth into productive workforce by building their skills thereby promoting inclusive growth. The mission proposes to employ 15 lakh youth in jobs in the private industry by 2014. The implementation shall be on a mission mode. To operationalise the programme, Government have constituted
  1. High level council Rajiv Education and Employment Council of Andhra Pradesh (REECAP) has been set up under the Chairmanship of Honarable Chief Minister with 9 cabinet ministers, Principal Secretaries of relevant departments and 10 representatives of the Industry and Academia for creating necessary policy environment and guiding the implementation process. This is a unique body which brings the best of Govt. Industry and Academia together to maximize opportunities for the unemployed youth.
  2. An exclusive State Level Society Rajiv Education and Employment Mission in Andhra Pradesh (REEMAP) has been registered to coordinate the efforts of all sub-missions on a mission mode.
  3. REEMAP will function through 7 sub- missions constituted in 7 Govt. Depts.
